Coming Up*...

 The Last Wednesday Apero - will be hosted by Michael Delahunty on June 25th at 18h00 until 20h00. Michael's address is Batiment 3 apt 5, La Dunette, 2 rue Maréchal Mailly, 66660 Port-Vendres. As usual, we will provide the drinks and crisps, and you bring a plate of tapas and 10€. Michael has a fabulous view overlooking Port-Vendres and we look forward to seeing you there. Please let us know as soon as possible (by Tuesday 24th at the latest) if you are coming so that we can cater for the numbers.

Picnic at Refuge Madeloc - Friday July 4th. We are suggesting that people arrive at the Refuge for an apero at midday. The walk from the Casernes du Centre takes about 20 minutes. Please make sure you have sunscreen, a hat and water. This is a very enjoyable event with an opportunity to admire the view of the coast from Refuge Madeloc. There is a pétanque pitch at the Refuge now and we are hoping to hold the first Vermeille Internationale Boules Competition there. We will ask people to bring some food to grill and we will provide salads, bread and drinks. We will make a charge of 10€ to cover the cost of the drinks. If you would like to bring a dessert, that would be good too! Please let us know by Wednesday 2nd July if you are coming so that we can buy the drinks etc.

Art Exhibition - Calling artists, ceramicists, photographers, embroiderers et al: advanced warning of our exhibition taking place at the Pavillon des Arts in Port-Vendres from 2nd – 8th October. We will be sending out information in June to all those people who have exhibited with us in the past. If you would like to exhibit with us, please let us know and we will add you to our list. The theme is "Les Couleurs de la Côte Vermeille" and we are hoping that the exhibition will be full of vibrant colours to astonish our visitors!

Recipe Book - featuring favourite recipes from our members, the booklet is on sale now.  We have ordered more of our excellent Recipe Books, having sold all the first 100, and they have just arrived, so get your orders to us as soon as you can.
